A BOY OR A GIRL
Written by Matt Herzfeld: Matt is a Brooklyn-based collective which seeks to recontextualize gender norms through multidisciplinary performance techniques filtered through an antiquarian post-modern aesthetically-based collaborative platform. Find us online.

Directed by Stephen Wargo: Steve Wargo is a director, writer, producer, sometimes singer, notorious  bartender and epic lover. He's pretty much a Renaissance Man. And he lives in Queens! So, hey, since you're already wasting company time reading this, do Steve a solid and check out the musical

Clint Carter (Adult Male): Clint was recently seen in the off Broadway production of Iron Curtain presented by Prospect Theater Company.  NYC Credits:  The Legend of Julie  Taymor (Bruno) and I Can Has Cheezburger! (Mr. Wrong). Regional credits:  Forum,That 60's Show, and Johnny Guitar at Seven Angels Theatre.  Enjoy the show!

Denise Dumper (Hornimaid):

Jordan Firstman (Firmdick): Jordan is a critically acclaimed actor. Mr. Pellegrino, Ocean Avenue elementary school fourth grade teacher, said "this kid is going places". Jordan's stage name is "Anne Hathaway". Thanks Steve and the cast! 

Adair Moran (Adult Female): Adair is pleased to be a part of this bit of insanity. She has worked in NYC theatre for 11 years, for companies including The Red Fern Theatre Company, Personal Space Theatrics and the Inwood Shakespeare Festival. Adair also works as a stunt performer in film and TV projects and she enjoys play writing in her spare time. www.adairmoran.com

Written by Molly Haas-Hooven:  Molly is thrilled to be a part of TinyRhino. Originally from Northampton, Ma, she now lives in Brooklyn, where she spends a lot of time scribbling in moleskines and eating cupcakes. She received her B.A. in Theater Arts from Brandeis, with a minor in Peace Conflict and Coexistence Studies. Currently she studies playwriting at the New School for Drama where she will receive her MFA in 2014.

Directed by Jason Blitman: most recently directed a reading of the new family musical YO, VIKINGS! at Off-Broadway's York Theater.  Directing and choreography credits include: DANI GIRL, HANSEL & GRETEL, TALES AS OLD AS AFRICA, URINETOWN, and the world premiere of IF YOU TAKE A MOUSE TO SCHOOL. Jason is a co-creator of Finding NEMA, a festival that showcases new and emerging musical artists in the theater. He is thrilled to be working with people that he loves to work with.

Serena Brook and Katie Bruestle have both worked at The New London Barn Playhouse in New Hampshire for several years but somehow have never ended up in a scene together.  They’re thrilled for the opportunity to participate in TinyRhino and encourage you to drink and be merry.

The director and cast of Sux Flags are all BC theatre grads (or close enough).  They're thrilled to be acting together again (or for the first time).  Everyone is quite excited to combine our favorite pursuits: drinking and theater-ing.

UNLEASH THE DRAGON
Written by Kirya Yvonne-Traber: Kirya is a national writer and performing artist. As a performer she has toured United States and Canada, appearing before President Bill Clinton, the rock band Massive Attack, incarcerated convicts at San Quinton Prison, and classrooms of kindergartners, among other notable persons. Her work was received awards from California Congresswoman Barbara Lee, Robert Redford's Sundance foundation, and the Astraea Lesbian Writers Fund. She can be found in the pages of Other Tongues: Mixed Race Women Speak Out by Inanna Press and her chapbook black chick. She is currently pursuing an MFA in Acting at the New School for Drama.

Directed by Sherri Barber:  Recent directing credits include "Herman Kline’s Midlife Crisis" (The Beckett), "Carthaginians" (Stella Adler Conservatory/NYU),"Dance Lessons" (Winner of the Samuel French Short Play Festival), and "Hylan Park" with Annabella Sciorra (AT Play/Atlantic). Sherri is a Drama League Directing Fellow, recipient of the US/UK Exchange to direct in London, and a member of At Play and the Old Vic/New Voices Network. Alfie Fuller (Elle): Alfie is an actress who's appeared in productions in Virginia, D.C., and Atlanta at the Alliance Theatre. She's currently a candidate for her MFA in Acting at The New School for Drama. She hopes to one say be an opera singer and a cat owner.

Dana Mazzenga (Jules): Dana is a graduate of the New School for Drama's MFA program. She learned cool stuff there - that lets her do cool stuff out here. One thing she didn't learn at NSD, however, was how to "unleash the dragon".  She thanks Kirya, Sherri, and Alfie for enlightening her to it. VIC AND NED ACROSS AMERICA
Written by Daniel Kitrosser: Dan Kitrosser is a playwright, storyteller and performer in New York City.  His plays and musicals have been performed at P.S. 122 the Bleecker Street Theatre, The Ohio Theatre, Bryant Park and The Brooklyn Lyceum, with work developed at The Lark, Primary Stages and Working Man's Clothes.  He is the resident storyteller for both Central and Bryant Park and is the Artistic Director of Writopia Lab's World Wide Plays Festival, a festival of plays written by teens and tweens in and around New York City. www.danielstories.com.

Directed by Nicole Rosner: Nicole, a native Floridian, arrived in New York at the end of 2008 from London where she spent three years working at the Royal Court and Arcola Theatres.  New York highlights include Directing Pinter's Celebration and the premiere of David Kantounas'Grief at The Brooklyn Lyceum,  the premiere of Itamar Moses’ short play Bottom of the Ninth, an Observership of Shakespeare in the Park with Daniel Sullivan and Michael Grief and Assistant Directing at The Flea Theatre.  Nicole has recently worked as a Programmer/Producer for the Brooklyn Lyceum and Assembly Theatre at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Michael Bernstein (Attendant/Boy on Tractor): Michael always loves to play with the Rhino.  Other appearances: Grief and Celebration. With The Shelter NYC: “Kate” (playwright), F***ing Christmas (actor) and Night Windows (assistant director).  Lots of other theater, some TV & Film.  Also: narrator for the JPS Tanakh (Audible.com).  Coming soon: The Duke in Measure for Measure with Adirondack Shakespeare's Justice Project.

Ethan Hova (Vic): Ethan was previously in UglyRhino's inaugural production of RHINOCEROS (Berenger). Theatre: SPINNING THE TIMES (59E59; Winner, Best Actor, 1st Irish Festival), KING LEAR (EPBB), AROK OF JAVA (EPBB). TV/Film: ACCEPTED, ER, E-RING. Ethan is a Founding Member of Exit, Pursued by a Bear and frequent collaborator with |the claque|. He's delighted to be working once more with the lovely UglyRhino family! 

Andrew Krug (Ned): Andrew is a Brooklyn-based actor hailing from the wetlands of the Pacific Northwest. Off-Off-Broadway: Animals (Manhattan Rep), The Ghost of Henderson Manor, Let’s Ninja Science Ranger Team Get! (Vampire Cowboys), Butterfly Butterfly Kill Kill Kill! Written by Nicole Niefeld: New York Playwriting Debut. I write, I act, I clown, I eat large amounts of food. And I am also grateful to Will, our cast, Sam, Danny and to the entire UglyRhino Team. Dedicating this piece to my family and to the Funston Street Gang.  

Directed by Will Steinberger:  Will makes his Ugly Rhino/NY debut. Founding Artistic Director of Philadelphia’s InVersion Theatre, Will directed Amiri Baraka’s Dutchman in September. Other recent directing credits include Edward Albee’s At Home at the Zoo (Front Row Theater Co), Caryl Churchill’s Far Away (iNtuitons Experimental Theatre), Martin McDonagh’s The Beauty Queen of Leenane (FTC), Sarah Ruhl’s Eurydice (iNtuitons), Doug Wright’s Quills (iNtuitons), as well as productions of Albee’s The American Dream, and McDonagh’s The Cripple of Inishmaan. Will recently directed a reading of Emmy-winner Lee Kalcheim’s new play, Believer… featuring Tony-nominee Jayne Atkinson (Berkshire Theatre Festival). He has developed new plays at the University of Pennsylvania and other Philadelphia venues, including Born by Johnny Lloyd, Mistaken by Jason Butler and Margarita by Genna Erlikhman. Will has assistant directed productions directed by Blanka Zizka, David Auburn and Richard Hamburger. Later this month, Will directs a reading of Richard Bean’s The Big Fellah at the Wilma Theater, as well as new work at the Painted Bride. Will, who works as Literary/Artistic Assistant at the Wilma Theater, also works extensively as a dramaturg and teacher.

Shawn Cortel (Dzerry): Shawn has spent most of his time performing in the LA area and is now happy to be in NY continuing his career. Some past venues of performance: LA Opera, Malibu Stage Co., Falcon Theatre,Cabrillo Music Theatre, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and Metropolitan Playhouse. This is his first time having fun at UglyRhino. Cheers!

Carolyn Daucher (Jennie): Carolyn is a less-and-less recent grad of the University of Pennsylvania, where she earned a degree in Political Science that is collecting dust in the corner along with the rest of her parents' dreams for her future. She last appeared on stage in the New York Fringe Festival premiere of Laura Brienza's Scared of Sarah. Carolyn is the author of the blog Bad TV for Embarrassed People, but has not seen an episode of American Idol since the Kelly Clarkson season.

Omar Maskati (Randy/Barack Obama):

Jack Stanley (Ma/Fan/Steven Tyler): Jack, a recent Penn graduate undertaking his first foray into New York theater, is happy to be starting out with UglyRhino.  Thanks to his lovely cast, crew, and, most importantly, director (who probably won't read this).

Maya Tepler (Phoebe/Courtney Love): Regional: Ilse, Spring Awakening (Maine State Music Theater); Coming: A Rock Musical (Prince Music Theater); A Comedy of Errors, Pericles (Theatre at Monmouth). BA: University of Pennsylvania. Thanks to Will for giving me my NYC debut as a drug-addled has-been!

Harrison Unger (Ryan Seacrest): Ryan is thrilled to be a part of this production and TinyRhino. He was last seen onstage as the Narrator in "Batz" at The Brick Theater in Williamsburg as part of their Comic Book Theater Festival, and will next be seen on the Discovery ID Channel's true-crime reenactment show "Scorned: Crimes of Passion" as Peter (a cuckolded doctor…in Dallas…in the Eighties. *Mullet sold separately.) Major thanks to Will, Nicole, all the cast, and everyone at UglyRhino!
